We are a family run principal lending business. We provide development finance, mezzanine finance, bridging loans and equity release to UK property developers and investors.
Our loans are designed to stretch property developers and investors available capital. This enables them to access larger development sites and take on multiple projects simultaneously. We work alongside property developers and investors to understand their financial requirements and provide the right product for their circumstances.

PROCESS

Borrower or broker will contact SBL Capital with outline details of the project.

SBL Capital will respond with any further questions.

Upon satisfactory enquiry, SBL Capital will issue Indicative Terms to the borrower or broker.

Upon agreeing to the indicative terms, the borrower pays a commitment fee to begin the underwriting process.

From 2-6 weeks subject to requirement and nature of project. This includes legal undertakings, contracts, respective surveys and reports.

Following successful completion of underwriting, and in line with the borrowers requirements, any day 1 monies are released and the deal becomes live.

Throughout the duration of the loan, SBL Capital will require a project monitoring surveyor to undertake regular visits to assess progress and timelines.

Upon successful exit from the project, the borrower repays SBL Capital along with any outstanding interest.
